ChildFund Korea announced on September 29 that BTS’s Jimin’s younger brother has joined the Green Noble Club, following in the footsteps of Jimin and their father.
The Green Noble Club, established in 2017, is a high-value donor network that has become a leader in Korea’s culture of giving. In just eight years, it has grown into a community of 548 generous patrons.
Jimin became a member in 2021 after donating 100 million KRW (about 73,000 USD) to support self-reliant youth in Busan, children from families financially affected by COVID-19, and to improve the housing conditions of underprivileged children.
The following year, his father joined through ChildFund Korea’s i-LEADer program, which supports youth talent development.
Most recently, in May 2025—shortly after completing his military service—Jimin’s younger brother, Park Ji Hyun, also became a member. This milestone marked the first time in the organization’s history that a father and two sons have joined together, earning them recognition as the club’s first-ever “Three Father-Son Members.”
To honor their contributions, ChildFund Korea presented plaques of appreciation: Jimin’s father received one from Chairman Hwang Young Ki, while Jimin’s was presented by National Supporters’ Chairman Choi Bul Am.
Chairman Hwang remarked:
“The positive influence of Jimin and his family extends beyond financial support. Their involvement symbolizes the passing down of a culture of giving across generations and demonstrates how fandom culture can amplify that impact. We will continue to dedicate ourselves to making a meaningful difference in children’s lives through warm, heartfelt giving.”
