A private moment of BTS member Jin has gone viral, inviting scathing criticism for the artist.

Recently, a video clip supposedly showing a BTS member at a private dinner surfaced online. Judging from the interiors, it appeared to be taken inside a restaurant, where Jin was supposedly enjoying some downtime with his team.

In the clip, Jin was seen goofily doing the “Zero-Two” dance step, which has been extremely popular for a few years, particularly in the streaming and gaming communities.

Despite showing the idol simply having fun at a private event, the clip has sparked an unexpected level of negative comments on Korean forums, with some calling his actions “cheap” and others ridiculing his dancing skills. However, ARMYs have come to the idol’s defence fiercely.

- “That’s a bit of a turn-off. But it’s kind of surprising that he can’t do that dance.”
- “Hey, you people — this was at an overseas tour staff dinner where the members took turns dancing. Is that really something to hate on? You keep maliciously twisting things, spreading false narratives across communities, making hate comments, and mass-upvoting them past a hundred to make them top comments. You’re seriously vile. Stop harassing the members. With this level of malice, you’re not fans of your own fave. You’re basically a criminal group obsessed with attacking the other members. I hope you get served with a lawsuit.”
- “He’s stiff even when doing that, LOL.”
- “Cheap.”

- “You people should go hang out in your own forum. Are you attacking the members because there’s nothing left to obsess over with your fave? You’ve thrown away your real life to focus entirely on hating idols. How pathetic. Ugh.”
- “Jeez…”
