BTS member JungKook’s self-written fan song “My You” has surpassed 170 million streams on Spotify, marking yet another milestone in his solo career.

“My You,” which Jungkook personally produced and participated in writing and composing, holds special meaning as a fan-dedicated track. The achievement is particularly notable as it is a solo song created directly by the artist for his fans.

This marks Jungkook’s 18th track to exceed 170 million streams on Spotify as a soloist. “My You” was originally released for free in celebration of BTS’s 9th debut anniversary as a tribute to fans. Although it was officially released later as a digital single, the track has continued to gain steady streams, demonstrating long-term popularity on the global platform.

The song opens in English and closes in Korean, a lyrical structure that stands out to listeners. Jungkook’s signature sweet vocals and smooth tone create a warm, comforting atmosphere, while the simple yet emotional delivery and memorable chorus encourage repeat listening.

The video “My You by Jung Kook #2022BTSFESTA,” released through BTS’s official YouTube channel ‘BANGTANTV’, also received an enthusiastic response. The clip has surpassed 44.6 million views. On the day of release alone, it recorded over 8.75 million views and 1.92 million likes, ranking No. 1 among the most-viewed videos worldwide. It additionally trended on YouTube in 53 countries, reached No. 2 on the global popular music video chart, and ranked No. 1 among trending videos in the United States.

Jungkook’s other self-produced fan songs continue to perform strongly as well. “Still With You” has surpassed 420 million streams on Spotify, while “Never Let Go” is approaching 220 million streams, reflecting sustained global support for his original fan-dedicated releases.

Meanwhile, Jungkook’s personal Spotify profile has exceeded 10.4 billion cumulative streams across all credits, making him the fastest Asian artist and the first K-pop soloist to reach the milestone. The figures further underscore his global impact as a solo artist.
