A Brazilian woman in her 30s has been indicted and detained for stalking BTS‘s Jungkook.

According to the Seoul Western District Prosecutors’ Office, the woman was formally charged on February 27 with violating South Korea’s Anti-Stalking Act and trespassing.
She is accused of visiting Jungkook’s residence around 20 times between December and January, ringing his doorbell, and leaving mail outside his home.
During questioning, she reportedly stated that she “acted out of love for Jungkook.” Prosecutors, however, determined that her repeated actions clearly constituted stalking under the law.
The woman was first arrested on December 13 after allegedly trespassing at Jungkook’s home and being caught in the act. Although she was released at the time, authorities say she continued attempting to approach the property.

Police issued a restraining order banning her from coming within 100 meters of the residence. When she allegedly tried to return again, she was re-arrested and later referred to prosecutors on February 19.

The case has sparked strong reactions online, with fans expressing concern over the idol’s safety and calling for stricter protection measures.
