The ‘2026 K World Dream Awards’ (KWDA) organizing committee announced on June 21 that BTS, ENHYPEN, NCT WISH, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and BLACKPINK will receive the ‘K World Dream Best Album Award’. These prominent K-pop acts earned recognition for their outstanding album market performance.
BTS‘s 5th full-length album, ‘ARIRANG,’ released in March, achieved 4,169,464 first-week sales on the Hanteo Chart. It sold 3.98 million units on its release day, setting a new group record.
ENHYPEN‘s 7th mini album, ‘THE SIN : VANISH,’ released in January, recorded 2,075,056 first-week sales. This marks their fourth “double million-seller” album.
NCT WISH‘s 1st full-length album, ‘Ode to Love,’ released in April, garnered 1,825,925 first-week sales. This achievement sets a new personal best for the group.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) was honored for their 8th mini album, ‘Seventh Year: When the Wind Briefly Stopped in the Thicket.’ The album sold 1,806,740 units between April 13 and April 19, topping weekly charts and marking their seventh consecutive million-seller.
BLACKPINK‘s 3rd mini album, ‘DEADLINE,’ sold 1,774,577 units from February 27 to March 5. This set a new record for the highest first-week sales by a K-pop girl group.
The ‘K World Dream Awards’ ceremony will take place on August 27 at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. Broadcaster Jun Hyun Moo and comedian Jang Do Yeon will host the event. The lineup includes ATEEZ, P1Harmony, RIIZE, A9, N.DOUBL, C-YA, QWER, ILLIT, and RESCENE.
