BTS has made an impressive debut on Spotify’s newly launched Global Music Video Chart, securing six spots in the Top 10 and reaffirming the group’s worldwide influence across both official music videos and live performances.

Spotify introduced the Global Music Video Chart on July 21 (local time), ranking videos based on daily streaming figures. The chart includes not only official music videos but also live performance clips and other video content available on the platform.

According to the inaugural chart, BTS’ fifth full-length album ARIRANG saw multiple videos dominate the rankings:

  • “NORMAL” – No. 2
  • “SWIM (Live at Pier 17)” – No. 4
  • “2.0 (Live at Pier 17)” – No. 5
  • “SWIM” – No. 6
  • “NORMAL (Live at Pier 17)” – No. 7
  • “Merry Go Round” – No. 8

The group’s strong showing highlights the popularity of both its official releases and live performance videos among global listeners.

Released on July 17, the “NORMAL” music video contrasts BTS’ powerful stage performances with intimate moments from the members’ everyday lives. Its more relaxed and personal concept has resonated with fans worldwide, helping the song debut at No. 9 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart shortly after release.

BTS also drew global attention after performing as one of the co-headliners at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final halftime show on July 19 (local time), sharing the stage with international stars including Madonna, Shakira, and Justin Bieber.

Following the performance, streaming numbers for BTS’ hit single “Dynamite” increased significantly. According to data analytics company Luminate, the song’s daily streams rose from approximately 142,000 on July 18 to around 160,000 on July 19, marking a 13% increase in just one day.
