J-Hope of BTS has successfully concluded the Asia leg of his solo world tour. On May 31st and June 1st KST, he held two sold-out concerts at Kyocera Dome Osaka, drawing more than 80,000 fans over two days. The shows were also broadcast live in cinemas across 70 countries and regions, underscoring the global appeal of the BTS member.
The Osaka concerts marked the grand finale of his ‘J-Hope Tour ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’, which began in February at KSPO DOME in Seoul and took him to 15 cities across North America and Asia for a total of 31 performances. In total, the tour attracted approximately 470,000 attendees, further solidifying his stature as a solo artist.
Opening the night with songs from his debut solo album ‘Jack In The Box’, including “What if…” and “Pandora’s Box”, J-Hope greeted fans with high energy: “This is the final stop of my overseas tour. I’m honored to share this moment with you. Let’s make this night unforgettable.”
The setlist also featured tracks from his special album ‘HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1’, showcasing his signature street dance style. Performances of “Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)” and “MONA LISA”, released in March, highlighted his versatility through contrasting moods and visuals.
A medley of BTS hits turned up the excitement, with Japanese versions of “MIC Drop, “Baepsae”, and “Dis-ease” receiving roaring cheers from the crowd.
Reflecting on the tour, J-Hope shared, “This tour was a major challenge and a dream come true. It’s a beautiful memory I’ll never forget. I’ve truly felt the love of ARMY around the world. You are the real stars of this tour. I promise I’ll be back.”
‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ marked J-Hope’s first solo world tour since debuting 12 years ago. The title symbolizes “J-Hope on stage,” and reflects the realization of his hopes, dreams, and wishes through performance.
Up next, J-Hope will hold an encore concert titled ‘J-Hope Tour ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ FINAL’ at Goyang Stadium in Gyeonggi Province on June 13th and 14th. On the first day, he will also drop a new digital single, Killin It Girl (feat. GloRilla), which he will perform for the first time at the encore show.
