Throughout June, a series of large-scale events featuring BTS will take place in Goyang City. These include the offline event for ‘2025 BTS FESTA’, J-Hope’s encore concert, and Jin’s fan concert – all commemorating BTS’s debut anniversary.
On June 11th KST, Goyang City announced that J-Hope will hold the final performance of his solo world tour, ‘J-Hope Tour ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ FINAL’, at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium on June 13th and 14th. As the concluding stop on a tour that spanned major cities across North America and Asia, the event further establishes Goyang as a hub for major K-pop concerts.
At the same time, the city will host the offline event for ‘2025 BTS FESTA’ at KINTEX Exhibition Center II, marking the first time this celebration will be held in Goyang. The event commemorates the 12th anniversary of BTS’s debut on June 13th, 2013.
Goyang City commented, “This demonstrates the cultural infrastructure and future potential of Goyang, proving its capacity as an urban, multi-cultural destination that integrates performances, exhibitions, and immersive experiences.”
Notably, photo spots themed around ‘2025 BTS FESTA’ will be set up throughout the city, allowing visitors to capture memories in special locations such as Ilsan Lake Park, the Goyang Tourist Information Center, the parking tower at Ilsanseo-gu District Office, and plazas near KINTEX. Through these installations, the entire city will be transformed into one large-scale “festival stage.”
On June 28th and 29th, Jin will kick off his first solo fan concert, ‘#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR’, at the auxiliary stadium of the Goyang Sports Complex. With additional stops planned in Asia and the Americas, Goyang will serve as the starting point of this highly anticipated global tour.
To support these major BTS-related events, the city has launched a comprehensive response plan, including traffic and safety measures around the venues, temporary shuttle buses for international visitors, and on-site administrative support teams.
Mayor Lee Dong-hwan expressed his gratitude, saying, “We sincerely thank BTS, Korea’s representative artists, for choosing Goyang. We warmly welcome ARMY fans from around the world to our city.”
