Best Selling K-pop artists by pure albums in U.S. history

K-pop has become a thriving genre in the global music scene over the past few years. One of the most significant achievements of K-pop artists is their ability to break into the U.S. market and make a lasting impact.

In recent years, K-pop has solidified its position as one of the major genres in the industry, and many K-pop artists have entered the U.S. market. In terms of sales, several K-pop acts have set records, especially in pure album sales, referring to the physical album sales without streaming numbers included.

According to the data published by Chart Data, BTS dominated the ‘Best Selling K-pop Artists by Pure Album Sales in U.S. History.’ The top global K-pop act sold over 5.8 million albums in total.

Stray Kids followed in second place, selling over 3.07 million albums. TXT ranked third place with 2.1 million sold albums in the U.S. 

TWICE secured fourth place with 1.53 million copies sold, followed by ENHYPEN with 1.52 million copies. ATEEZ and Seventeen ranked in 6th and 7th place, with 1.4 million and 1.49 million albums sold, respectively.

NCT 127 came in 8th place with 1.25 million copies, followed by BLACKPINK with 710,000 copies sold and SuperM rounding out the top 10 with 630,000 copies sold in the U.S.
