BLACKPINK Jisoo‘s comments about the group’s comeback spark backlash regarding BTS.

BLACKPINK have been teasing a comeback and album for some time, but recent news shared that it had been delayed until 2026.
Recently, Jisoo did an interview and editorial with ELLE Korea, where she mentioned that BLACKPINK’s album would be released early next year, along with her own.

Yet, the announcement from Jisoo has earned backlash due to BTS’s alleged comeback plans.

After being discharged from the military, through announcements and hints from members, BTS is seemingly set to have a comeback at some point in 2026, along with a tour that the members have also hinted at. Yet, it has meant that Jisoo’s comments were hit with backlash, with some saying it was postponed to seemingly match with BTS’s activities.
