
BTS’s J-Hope is back and continuing to make waves in the entertainment industry, with his recent livestream breaking an impressive number of records.
The idol recently released his new single ‘Sweet Dreams‘ featuring Miguel, and in order to celebrate this occasion, J-Hope decided to give a very special gift to fans: a 12-hour livestream on WeVerse. Starting the livestream at 11 PM KST, he stuck to the ‘sweet dreams’ theme as he began his nighttime routine for millions of viewers.
J-Hope gave fans a glimpse into his life during those 12 hours, from eating food, talking with fans, singing, dancing, showing his drawing diary, and even going to sleep for the night while still on camera. In the morning, J-Hope revealed the process of getting ready for an event and traveling to the venue, all while still livestreaming. Finally, after arriving at his scheduled offline fan event, J-Hope wished his fans well and ended the live.
The ‘Sweet Dreams’ livestream ended up lasting over 12 hours and racking up over 27 million viewers, making it the most viewed WeVerse live of all time. J-Hope’s livestream also surpassed the viewership numbers of high-profile award events like the Grammys (15.4 million), the Oscars (19.7 million), and the Billboard Music Awards (12.9 million). As of March 8, J-Hope’s 12-hour livestream is not only the most viewed WeVerse live of all time, it’s also the most viewed livestream of 2025 so far.
Meanwhile, J-Hope’s new single ‘Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)’ was released on March 7, and is currently rising to the top of the charts.
