BTS member Jungkook has been named one of the “ Top 25 Most Famous Persons in the World,” alongside U.S. President Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
The list was published on Feb. 18 by World Famous Things, an informational website that introduces notable figures and places around the globe. Jungkook ranked 18th and was the only Korean person included.
The site described him as “a popular and influential music celebrity,” praising his “strong voice, attractive personality and impressive performance skills” that have captivated fans worldwide.
It noted that Jungkook debuted in 2013 as a member of BTS, setting records on the Billboard charts and selling out concert venues around the world.
“Jungkook as a solo artist has been very successful as well,” the site added.
Referring to solo tracks such as “Seven” (2023), the website said they “demonstrated that Jungkook is not just a star of the group, but a strong independent artist having a tremendous fanbase worldwide.”
The site also highlighted his influence in fashion and on social media, noting that global brands collaborate with him for promotions and that his posts reach millions of followers.
Others included on the list span sports, entertainment and business, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, MrBeast, Kim Kardashian, Mark Zuckerberg and LeBron James.
Jungkook is set to return with BTS’s fifth full-length album, “Arirang,” on March 20.
