Fans will soon be able to experience BTS’s new world tour on the big screen.
BTS is set to kick off its upcoming global trek, ‘BTS World Tour Arirang,’ in April. Among the scheduled stops, the April 11 concert in Goyang and the April 18 show in Tokyo will be available through live viewing screenings.
The live viewing is part of a special project designed for ARMYs around the world. The Seoul concert will be broadcast in more than 3,500 theaters across 75 countries and regions worldwide.
In South Korea, screenings will be held at major multiplex chains including CGV, Lotte Cinema, and Megabox. Ticket reservations will open at 10 AM on February 25, with explosive demand expected.
The tour has already sold out entirely, with shows in Goyang as well as North America and Europe quickly reaching full capacity. The President of Mexico reportedly even requested additional performances.
BTS will also make history as the first Korean act to headline one of the world’s largest stadiums. At London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the group previously recorded the highest single-show attendance rate in the venue’s history.
Meanwhile, BTS will release its fifth full-length album, Arirang, at 1 PM on the 20th of next month. The album is expected to reflect the essence of BTS today and resonate deeply with fans across the globe.
