On Japan’s idol ranking platform ‘Nehan’, V ranked No.1 in the male idol category for the 250th consecutive week in voting held from January 5 to 11. On K-culture platform ‘K-Board’, he has maintained the top spot for 216 consecutive weeks in the K-pop idol popularity ranking, while also holding No.1 positions across the entire voting period in the Korean drama male actor poll and the “handsome men” election.
‘K-pop Juice’ further highlighted V’s strong and stable fandom in Japan, with V claiming No.1 in overall rankings as well as No.1 in the favorites registration category throughout the entire period.

‘GQ Korea’’s February issue featuring V on the cover topped Rakuten’s Korean K-pop and Asia rankings for four consecutive days immediately after pre-orders opened on Japan’s largest online shopping platform.

On Amazon Japan, the issue ranked No.1 simultaneously in both the idol/celebrity merchandise bestseller list and the new releases category. It also claimed No.1 on Qoo10 in the K-pop magazine and photobook category and topped Yahoo Shopping Japan’s bestseller rankings. On Qoo10 alone, the magazine recorded 15,000 pre-orders in just two days.
‘Vogue Japan’’s February issue saw similar success. During the pre-order phase that began on December 24, Rakuten quickly marked the magazine as sold out, while on Amazon Japan, two different versions of the issue alternated between No.1 and No.2 in the women’s magazine category.
Official Japanese online retailer Seven Net and international shipping platform Ringlee Dongdo both reported the issue as a bestseller. CDJapan announced sold-out status due to surging demand, and even the flagship Miyawaki Bookstore informed customers of sell-outs, later offering only extremely limited restocks.
Through record-breaking rankings and rapid sell-outs across major platforms, V continues to solidify his unrivaled presence and enduring popularity in the Japanese market.
