BTS member Jin and actress Ji Ye Eun were left speechless by the wildly imaginative lodging created by webtoon artist and entertainer Kian84 in Netflix’s upcoming variety show ‘Kian’s Bizarre B&B.’
Set on the remote island of Ulleungdo, ‘Kian’s Bizarre B&B’ features Kian84, Jin, and Ji Ye Eun hosting unsuspecting guests in a one-of-a-kind guesthouse straight out of Kian84’s eccentric imagination. The show is being hailed as a fresh take on the guesthouse variety genre, originally popularized by ‘Hyori’s Homestay,’ and brings together ‘Lee Hyori’s Homestay’ director Jung Hyo Min and writer Yoon Shin Hye with the unfiltered creativity of Kian84.
Directors Jung Hyo Min, Lee So Min, and Hwang Yoon Seo shared their vision: “We wanted to create a truly unique guesthouse where Kian84’s imagination could be fully realized. Our goal was to deliver an extraordinary, unforgettable experience while maintaining safety. We preserved the core structure and fun of Kian’s original design while ensuring a secure environment.”

Recently released teaser stills offer a sneak peek at the fantastical property, known as ‘Kianjang.’ Perched atop the vast sea surrounding Ulleungdo, the floating B&B features real-time fishing zones and a full-blown water park. Guests are even greeted with a ‘boat pick-up service’ piloted by Captain Ji Ye Eun herself.
From the moment of arrival, guests are thrown into Kian84’s whimsical world. A 3.8-meter-tall rock climbing wall serves as the main entrance, while the only way out is via a giant slide. Other unconventional features include an outdoor bed under the open sky and a direct slide into the ocean—facilities as outrageous as they are unforgettable.

Kian84, Jin, and Ji Ye Eun were all stunned by the final result. “I couldn’t believe they built it,” said Kian84. “Even now, I can vividly remember the smell of the ocean and the feeling of the night air at Kianjang.”
Jin shared his thoughts: “I didn’t know you could make a living space like that. It felt like a true talent. Every part of it was a fresh shock to the system. When life feels dull or exhausting, and you want something different—or you just want to experience life like Kian for a bit—this is the perfect place.”

Ji Ye Eun added, “I was speechless. It was so different from what I expected—surprising and a bit shocking. It’s exactly what the name says: a total mayhem B&B, and it’s a place where everyone has to work together just to get by.”
‘Kian’s Bizarre B&B’ premieres on April 8 and will release three episodes per week for three weeks, totaling nine episodes.
