GQ Korea unveiled its January issue featuring a photoshoot with Jin on January 17.
In the shoot, Jin exudes charisma with a clean yet striking style, wearing a deep brown leather coat. He also radiates sophistication with the classic combination of a white shirt and tailored slacks, embodying both neatness and dandy charm.
Since completing his mandatory military service in June last year, Jin has been keeping busy with solo activities and variety show appearances.
In an interview published by GQ, Jin was asked, “As BTS represents the voices of young people worldwide, what message would you like to convey in the future?” He responded, “I hope people don’t lose their peace of mind. Even in the midst of a busy life, I hope they find ways to make themselves happy without losing who they are.”
When asked about the qualities that define a gentleman, Jin shared, “While not being bound by rules is certainly admirable, I believe a true gentleman is someone who possesses good manners at the core. This includes external etiquette as well as inner qualities, like being considerate of others’ feelings and approaching them with unseen kindness.”
Jin added, “Since the ideal is for everyone to get along harmoniously and in good spirits, I believe it’s essential to cultivate beauty both internally and externally to achieve that.”
The full interview and additional photos can be found in the January issue of GQ Korea and on their official website.
