Jungkook continues his remarkable success story with his hit single “Seven.”

According to the latest chart (January 17–23) released by Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform, Jungkook’s first solo single “Seven,” released in July 2023, ranked 84th on the Weekly Top Song Global chart.

Despite being out for over 18 months, “Seven” rose two spots compared to the previous week, marking its 80th consecutive week on the chart. This achievement makes “Seven” the longest-charting song by an Asian solo artist in Spotify history, solidifying its enduring global impact.

Jungkook’s first solo album, GOLDEN, also ranked 46th on the Weekly Top Album Global chart for the same period, marking its 64th week on the chart. These milestones highlight Jungkook’s ongoing global popularity and the unwavering support of music fans worldwide.

Even while serving in the military, Jungkook secured the 146th spot on the Weekly Top Artist Global chart (January 17–23), marking his 87th week on the list.

Previously, “Seven” made history as the first K-pop solo song to remain on the Spotify Daily Top Song Global chart for over 500 days, demonstrating its incredible streaming power. The song became the first Asian artist’s track to hold the No. 1 spot on the Spotify Daily Top Song Global chart for 71 days. It also set a record for the longest reign at No. 1 in 2023 for a male artist’s song, spending nine weeks at the top of the Weekly Top Song Global chart. “Seven” further broke streaming records by becoming the fastest song to reach 100 million, 900 million, 1 billion, and 1.1 billion streams on Spotify. It also became the first and fastest track by an Asian artist to surpass 2.1 billion streams.

Jungkook’s album GOLDEN also achieved a significant milestone, becoming the first album by a K-pop solo artist to exceed 5 billion streams on Spotify.
