BTS Jungkook has surpassed a cumulative 10 billion streams on Spotify with his solo releases, becoming the first Korean solo artist ever to reach the milestone.

According to global music platform Spotify (as of Nov. 25), Jungkook’s solo tracks collectively exceeded 10 billion streams, driven by the strength of his first solo album Golden and a string of record-breaking singles.

Golden alone has racked up more than 6.4 billion streams, demonstrating Jungkook’s massive global reach. Every track on the album has also surpassed 100 million streams, underscoring its broad appeal.

Jungkook has consistently rewritten records for Korean soloists on Spotify. His debut solo single “Seven” topped Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart immediately upon release — the first time a K-pop solo act had done so. The track drew more than 15.99 million first-day streams, the highest debut-day figure for any K-pop solo song, and later ranked No. 3 on the list of “Most Streamed Songs of Summer 2023.” It has now surpassed 2.6 billion streams, the most among Korean artists’ individual tracks.

Other Jungkook hits include “Standing Next to You” (1.3 billion streams), the Charlie Puth collaboration “Left and Right” (1.1 billion), and “3D” featuring Jack Harlow (1 billion). With four songs exceeding the 1-billion mark, Jungkook holds the record for the most billion-stream tracks by a K-pop solo artist.
