Crush boasted about his special friendship with BTS’s J-Hope on the December 11 broadcast of MBC‘s variety show ‘Radio Star.’
Crush, known as a “digital music powerhouse” and the voice behind numerous emotional drama OSTs, showcased a sweet and soulful stage performance during the episode.
Having collaborated with many artists, Crush shared, “I’ve done collaborations with many singers, including Zico and Zion.T. With IU, we even did a kind of guest-exchange system for our concerts,” revealing the close connections he’s built in the industry.
Among all the artists he’s worked with, Crush singled out J-Hope as the most unforgettable figure. He explained, “The most unforgettable artist was BTS’s J-Hope. Since he’s a global superstar, I was really nervous, but in reality, he wasn’t like that at all.“
Crush shared a memorable experience, saying, “I often perform congratulatory songs at weddings, and it turns out J-Hope’s older sister is a fan of mine, so I went to sing at her wedding. As a thank-you gift, J-Hope gave me a custom microphone. It was a microphone entirely encrusted with Swarovski crystals.”
He also revealed that performing in front of BTS members at the wedding felt like an audition. Crush then proudly showed off the custom microphone on the show.
