As BTS member Jungkook is set to be discharged from the military next week on June 11, celebratory wrapping buses will be seen across the Seoul metro area.
Jungkook’s Japanese fan club, Jungkook Japan, unveiled a military discharge and debut anniversary support project titled the “JungKook Welcome Home Project” via social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
From June 10 to 15, Jungkook Japan will operate three “Jungkook Buses” near HYBE headquarters in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and around the FESTA event site in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, which celebrates BTS’s debut anniversary.
The “Jungkook Buses” will be fully wrapped with striking images of Jungkook and the cute “Kkuktugi” character, a personified version of Jungkook.

In addition, from June 10 to 16, Jungkook Japan will run an ad campaign commemorating Jungkook’s discharge and debut anniversary at the Yongsan HYBE branch of 7-Eleven, located just a minute’s walk from HYBE’s new building.
The Korean fan club, Jungkook Supporters, will also display Jungkook advertisements for a month, from June 5 to July 4, on two major Seoul city bus lines, Bus 100 and Bus 400, including those running through Yongsan.
Chinese fan club Jungkook China will join the celebrations by running its own “Jungkook Bus,” wrapped entirely in Jungkook’s images, from June 11 to 15 near the HYBE headquarters and its front gate.
Additionally, fanbase Jungkook Channel CIS will operate a congratulatory video truck near HYBE from June 11 to 13, further elevating the festive mood with their special support.
