Netizens are accusing producers Ryan Tedder and Diplo, recently revealed as having worked on multiple songs on BTS’s new album ‘ARIRANG‘, of being “Zionist” and a “sexual predator”.
One K-netizens wrote earlier this week, “No matter how I look at it, it’s so insulting to see that a right-wing sex criminal and a Zionist took part in BTS’s new album whose title is ‘ARIRANG’, a title capturing the soul and the spirit of our people as a traditional folk song of the Korean nation. Even more so as a Korean and as a woman. It’s so sneaky of them to hide the credits from the track list until now just so they could keep fans’ mouths shut.”

The netizen continued to accuse Ryan Tedder, the frontman of One Republic, for being a “Zionist” based on his past interview remarks, including instances when One Republic referred to the conflict in Gaza as “terrorism”.

Against Diplo, the netizen raised multiple allegations, including the grooming of a minor of the opposite sex, lawsuits surrounding the filming of “revenge porn”, and also of being potentially “pro-Japanese”, as the singer was spotted posting an image of himself holding a “Rising Sun” flag at the top of Mt. Fuji:

Meanwhile, according to the newly released track list for BTS’s ‘ARIRANG’, Ryan Tedder participated as a producer in “Body to Body“, “Swim“, “Normal” and “Please“, while Diplo took part in producing “Body to Body”, “FYA“, “One More Night“, “Like Animals“, “Please“, and “Into the Sun“.

Big Hit Music has yet to respond to the above allegations. ‘ARIRANG’ is set for release on March 20 at 12 AM EST / 1 PM KST.
