On January 19, 2016, the news came out that SBS was planning to record a special program for the lunar new year in which different K-Pop groups would go out to compete on a stage to show their skills and abilities, with the heads of each entertainment company. The objective of the program is to show the true talent of each group being guided by their respective bosses so that the company and the winning group take victory and honor.
A total of 20 K-Pop groups, both famous and new, will participate. The heads of each company will introduce themselves to the audience and spend an entertaining time with their groups.
The show’s producer, Lee Yang Hwa , (known for being the former producer of Kpop Star and the current producer of Inkigayo ), said, “The boss-employee relationship makes people feel more relatable and will make the show fun for all generations. ”
Each group will have to compete in 5 different categories: stamina / strength, intelligence, individual skills, luck and teamwork. These five virtues will be the ones that make the K-Pop group that wins the most tests and proves its worth the winner.
