Which groups have gone over 10 years without any member changes?

On an online forum, netizens discussed the few idol groups that have maintained their original lineup for over a decade after debut. Typically, in larger groups, internal changes such as member additions, departures, or rejoining occur for various reasons.

However, a select few groups, regardless of size or member nationality, have remained intact over the years (without any joins, temporary or permanent departures, or rejoins) while continuing to actively promote as a team without company issues, as well as through solo and unit activities.

These groups include:

GOT7

TWICE

SEVENTEEN

BTS

DAVICHI

2AM

BROWN EYED GIRLS

MAMAMOO

Meanwhile, other groups such as GFRIEND, Lovelyz, Shinhwa, Block B, and BABY V.O.X have not officially disbanded and still include their original members. However, the focus of this discussion was on groups that remain actively promoting rather than those reuniting for special promotions.

Netizens reacted:

“More than 10 years since debut + still actively promoting as a team + no member changes (no additions, departures, or structural changes) + no criminal scandals + no hiatus due to failed contract renewals = if these are the criteria, then it makes sense that only a few mentioned in the original post qualify.”

“Well, if you consider every little detail, then yeah, I guess it checks out.”

“That’s a really strict standard.”

“Aren’t there more groups that fit?”

“Is this based on currently active groups?”

“Is the criteria that they have foreign members?”

“Honestly, I’m more shocked that these groups have already been around for over 10 years.”

“It’s impressive, especially for a large-member group.”

“They must be referring to groups that have no criminal members and whose active lineup has remained the same.”

“If we look into it more, I feel like there could be other groups too.”
