Kim Taehyung, aka V of BTS, secures 3rd consecutive win at the ‘2025 The Fact Music Awards’.
On September 20, the ‘2025 The Fact Music Awards’ was held at the Macao Outdoor Performance Venue, honoring artists who have made remarkable contributions to the global Hallyu wave.
Taehyung won the “Best Music (Winter)” award for his December 2024 release “Winter Ahead”, a heartfelt collaboration with his close friend, singer Park Hyoshin.

During the event, the host spotlighted Taehyung’s impact, introducing him as “a world-class artist who has swept the global charts with three consecutive entries on the Billboard Holiday Hot 100.”

This marks Taehyung’s third consecutive win in the Best Music category, making him the first K-pop idol in history to achieve this feat. He previously won in 2023 with “Slow Dancing” and again in 2024 with “FRI(END)S.”
Taehyung now stands alongside singer Lim Young-woong as the artist with the most wins in the ‘Best Music’ category, with three each.
“Winter Ahead” blends jazz and pop influences, delivering a poignant message about finding warmth and joy in love amid solitude and emotional coldness. The track uses winter as a metaphor for hardship, with companionship offering comfort and refuge.
