Appearing on a YouTube channel alongside V, RM opened up about the group’s journey and the meaning behind their recent comeback. He reflected, “For 14 years, it’s really not easy for seven people to stay together without a single member leaving.”
RM continued with deep appreciation, saying, “The members are really kind. They’re very considerate, and there’s a lot of love between us.” RM also shared insights into the making of BTS’s latest album “ARIRANG.” After completing military service, he proposed that the group head to Los Angeles together for an intensive recording session. “I suggested that we go to LA right after discharge and work together for two months,” he explained.

The members lived together again for the first time in years, which he described as a meaningful experience. “Even though living together could feel tiring, it actually reminded us of the good times and brought us closer,” RM said.
Their schedule was highly disciplined, working six days a week, exercising together in the morning, and spending long hours in the studio. As a result, they created over 100 demo tracks, eventually selecting 14 songs for the album.
Beyond friendship, RM emphasized that BTS’s unity is driven by a shared goal. “More than anything, the desire to deliver something to ARMY keeps us together,” he shared, expressing gratitude for both the members and their fans. His words have resonated strongly with fans, especially amid the group’s full-member comeback after years of individual activities.
With their latest album, BTS has once again demonstrated their global influence, drawing massive attention worldwide.
