Jimin of BTS gave a special memory to a fan battling a rare disease. ARMY (fanbase name) carried on that heart through donations.
BTS held the world tour “Arirang” in Arlington, Texas on the 16th (Korean time). On that day, young fan Olivia, who is battling pediatric cancer, visited the concert venue.
Jimin gave Olivia an unforgettable moment. He handed her a keychain directly and gently stroked her head. He held her in his arms and kissed her cheek, expressing affection.
As the video was shared on SNS, fans also took action. The intention was to provide help to children with rare diseases. A voluntary donation drive toward the related foundation began.
The donations exceeded approximately 96,000 dollars (approximately 132 million won in Korean currency) as of 9 a.m. on the 26th. Jimin’s warm heart was carried on through ARMY’s good deeds. It created another act of sharing.
Meanwhile, BTS is continuing the world tour “Arirang.” The group will perform at Soldier Field in Chicago on the 28th and 29th.
