BTS member RM showed his love for the Maple Leafs by wearing a jersey on the first of two shows at Toronto’s Rogers Stadium.
Despite the rain, the show went on Saturday and at one point, RM told the audience that he and fellow bandmate Suga got to suit up with the Leafs and hit the ice.
“Nice weather, ain’t it?” he sarcastically asked the crowd, adding, “We gonna never ever forget this night.”

RM did share photos from the day on his own Instagram, of him at the rink as well as photos of him and j-hope on a boat ride around Toronto’s harbour.
He also told the audience that the boat captain gave the singer his hat.
“Yes sir! Thank you for your service!” he said about the skip before moving on to talk about the city itself.
“Toronto is so beautiful. People are so nice and kind. And some ARMY in the street gave me white flowers and it was so romantic. I appreciate it!,” he continued, adding, “I love you and I hope you had a good night tonight!”

RM then introduced their hit song, Butter, and after that performance, he gifted a lucky fan the jersey before tossing the captain’s hat into the crowd.
Saturday’s concert was temporarily suspended after lightning warnings but once the thunder roared past, BTS played through the downpour in its first of two sold-out shows as part of its Arirang World Tour.
It marks the first time the K-pop supergroup performed in Toronto after their 2020 concert was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, though they did play in Hamilton in 2018.
