On October 2, Jin revealed via fan platform Weverse that he will hold a two-day solo encore fan concert on October 31 and November 1 at Incheon Munhak Stadium.
Shortly after the announcement, reports emerged that local accommodations around the stadium had drastically inflated their rates. One fan shared on an online community that their confirmed reservation was abruptly canceled, with the booking site claiming a pricing error. “They told me the reservation couldn’t be honored, then relisted the same room for ₩1,075,000 ($800),” the fan wrote, adding that the same accommodation usually costs no more than ₩80,000 ($60), even during holidays.
Screenshots circulated online showed prices spiking into the ₩900,000 range ($680+) for Jin’s concert dates alone. Netizens criticized the recurring pattern of price gouging around major events, calling it exploitative toward fans who often travel long distances to attend.
Meanwhile, Jin recently wrapped up his successful global tour, which began in Goyang in June and included 18 shows across nine cities in Japan, the U.S., and Europe. Fans now eagerly anticipate his final domestic encore shows, though many remain frustrated by the extreme lodging costs tied to the event.
