BTS Jungkook has achieved a new milestone in Asian music history with his first solo song “Seven” on the Billboard charts.

According to the latest chart released by the U.S. music media outlet Billboard on October 11, Jungkook’s “Seven” ranked 132nd on the Global 200 chart, continuing its remarkable streak with 115 consecutive weeks on the chart since its debut.

The Global 200 chart compiles rankings based on online streaming and digital sales data from 200 countries around the world, including the United States. “Seven” has once again broken its own record, becoming the first and longest-running song by an Asian artist on the chart.

“Seven” also ranked 78th on Billboard’s October 11 ‘Global (Excl. U.S.)‘ chart, with Jungkook setting another unprecedented record as the first and longest-running Asian solo artist to remain on the chart for 116 consecutive weeks. The song’s earlier achievements — including nine consecutive weeks at No. 1 after release, seven consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Global 200, and seven consecutive weeks simultaneously topping both charts — mark a remarkable feat in K-pop history.

Most notably, “Seven” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s main singles chart, the ‘Hot 100,’ and remained on the chart for 15 weeks. It also debuted at No. 3 on the UK Official Singles Top 100, making Jungkook the first K-pop solo artist to stay on the chart for 14 consecutive weeks.

Additionally, the song has stayed on Spotify’s ‘Weekly Top Songs Global‘ chart for 117 consecutive weeks, becoming the first track by an Asian artist to surpass 2.58 billion cumulative streams.

Alongside these chart achievements, “Seven” continues to receive lasting love from fans around the world. Through this latest Billboard milestone, BTS Jungkook’s “Seven” continues to showcase the enduring global presence and influence of K-pop in the mainstream music scene.

Congratulations to Jungkook!
