BTS has unveiled a new music video.
At 6 PM on June 19 KST, the group released the music video for “Merry Go Round,” a track from their fifth full-length album ‘ARIRANG.’ The video was produced through a special collaboration with Spotify and is available exclusively on the global audio and music streaming platform.
“Merry Go Round” explores the lives of people who continue moving forward despite the exhausting cycle of everyday life, much like a carousel that spins endlessly without stopping. The newly released music video visually brings the song’s profound message to life through striking black-and-white cinematography and a variety of symbolic objects, leaving a lasting impression.

The story unfolds as the BTS members, each occupied with their own lives, are drawn together one by one into a shared space as if by fate. Passing through different moments and memories, they eventually come to a stop in the same place, where they openly share the stories they have carried in their hearts and reaffirm the strength of their bond.
A dramatic twist emerges near the end of the video. The space where the members gather and converse is revealed not to be an ordinary structure, but a massive carousel floating alone in the sky. The music video concludes with a sweeping view of the carousel endlessly turning as it drifts across a vast ocean, beautifully completing BTS’s narrative of perseverance and resilience as they continue moving forward in their own way amid the never-ending cycle of time.
The music video is especially meaningful to ARMY, BTS’s fandom, as it reinterprets the carousel, a key symbol that appeared in the group’s globally acclaimed 2017 music video for “Spring Day,” through a modern lens, evoking a sense of nostalgia and emotional resonance.
Meanwhile, BTS is set to embark on a massive world tour consisting of 88 shows across 34 cities worldwide.
