BTS has become the target of criticism after fans’ behavior during a brand’s live stream.

Recently, a brand called Somethinc did a live stream, and the host of the live was getting hate, seemingly linked to something the brand has done in the past but no link to the hosts of the show.

he was literally shaking on live trying to explain and said “salah aku kak? kalo ketauan manajemen aku bisa ga kerja lagi” WOY yall bullied the WRONG PERSON. this fandom loves fake moral superiority until it’s time to not be a jerk. @bts_bighit PLS EDUCATE YOUR SO CALLED FANS https://t.co/JbEhlAloVO

Yet, while the initial posts blamed ARMYs and the toxic behavior towards the creator, it ultimately led to netizens criticizing the actions of BTS. In particular, they brought back clips that seemingly claimed that the members have a “bad personality,” specifically sharing a clip with James Corden where netizens claimed they supported the star getting threats from ARMYs.

i wonder why the idol never educates the fandom.

punya campaign anti-bullying tapi fansnya jadi icon bullying. https://t.co/l5Zu2YTeJM

Well BTS has never apologized for using the N word on multiple occasions or for mocking other people's culture, of course they don’t say anything to their disgusting fans

Ever wonder why Armys are asshole? Well here's their idol who claims to "paved the way" 🤮 https://t.co/FrhlZUxVaK

They’re deluded like their fans. It’s not fun being associated with them even as friends in the industry because they tolerate sick behavior like this and feel superior about it. Wouldn’t be surprised if they’re actually incels too.pic.twitter.com/beDQsplOQk https://t.co/iP8DZy62xU

forget about tolerating they encourage the psychotic behaviour of their fandom https://t.co/DfUFtQ6J8p

While fans defended BTS, especially surrounding the James Corden controversy, many netizens still gained attention for their criticism.
