BTS has added new streaming certifications from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).

According to the RIAJ on January 30, BTS’s anthology album ‘Proof‘ title track “Yet To Come” surpassed 100 million cumulative streams in Japan, earning a Platinum certification in the streaming category. In addition, “Love Maze,” a B-side from the group’s third full-length album ‘LOVE YOURSELF‘ 轉 ‘Tear’, exceeded 50 million streams, securing a Gold certification.

The RIAJ awards monthly streaming certifications based on cumulative play counts: Gold for 50 million streams or more, Platinum for 100 million or more, and Diamond for 500 million or more. To date, BTS holds a total of 16 Platinum and 48 Gold streaming certifications in Japan. Notably, “Dynamite” and “Butter” have both achieved Diamond certification – making BTS the first and only K-pop act to earn Diamond status in the Japanese streaming category.

“Yet To Come” reflects on BTS’s musical journey so far while delivering a message about what lies ahead. “Love Maze” conveys the hope of not losing one’s way even within a maze, carrying a heartfelt message to the group’s fandom, ARMY.

The latest streaming milestones are seen as a reflection of global fans revisiting BTS’s music ahead of the group’s long-awaited full-member comeback. BTS is set to release their fifth full-length album, ‘ARIRANG,’ on March 20 at 1 PM KST. Marking their first full-group release in approximately three years and nine months, the album will feature 14 tracks exploring themes of identity, longing, and profound love.

Meanwhile, BTS will kick off a large-scale world tour on April 9 at Goyang Stadium’s main arena, spanning 34 cities with a total of 82 shows. All dates- including the Goyang concert as well as the North American and European legs – have sold out, with the group set to make history by holding solo concerts at major stadiums across the United States and Europe as the first Korean artist to do so.
