The account, which Jungkook opened in July last year, reached the milestone in just about nine months. Although the account was created earlier, he only began actively posting content in February this year, making the rapid growth even more notable.
Among his posts, the “Hooligan” challenge video uploaded on April 22 has drawn particular attention, surpassing 100 million views within four days. Out of his 10 total posts, five have already exceeded 50 million views, highlighting his strong engagement.
The same video also recorded over 2 million reposts within two days, ranking as the third most shared post in Instagram history—following Lionel Messi and Taylor Swift. The achievement is especially striking given the significant difference in follower counts.
Jungkook had previously deleted his former Instagram account, which had amassed over 52 million followers in 2023, surprising fans worldwide.
In addition to Instagram, his presence continues to expand across platforms, with his personal TikTok account recently surpassing 29 million followers.
