The BTS members have been indulging ARMYs with frequent livestreams with the release of each of their solo projects. Today, Namjoon surprised fans with a short and sweet livestream on Weverse and made some surprising revelations!
Namjoon talked about how he had been working on new music, and about his live performance of an unreleased forthcoming track that he performed during Suga’s final D-Day encore show. He mentioned that he hadn’t been onstage since BTS’s ‘Yet To Come’ concert, which happened nearly ten months ago and that his hands and legs were shaking during the performance! Can you imagine BTS’s confident leader actually being nervous? If he was, we definitely could not tell!
Namjoon also became the bearer of sad news as he shared that his beloved dog, Moni had passed away a few months ago. Moni was a beloved part of RM’s and fans’ hearts and families – and he will definitely be missed. We are sure that the poetic leader might even dedicate a song to him in his upcoming album (which we eagerly await!)
Fans also nudged Namjoon about doing the ‘Seven’ dance challenge along with Jungkook – and in a surprise move, he said that he planned to sign up for hip-hop dance lessons soon! We are certain that his new dance moves will only add to his sensational suave rapper energy onstage!
RM also talked a little bit about Suga’s D-Day concerts and said that while all members are immersed in their solo musical ventures at the moment, they too, like ARMY are eagerly looking forward to reuniting in 2025 and embarking on chapter 2 of their journey as BTS.
“So actually, Suga hyung talked a lot about what he felt throughout the 28 shows and how many armys and how much love is waiting for the reunion in 2025 and I definitely felt that. even though we’re doing solo projects on our own, what I’m thinking is that even though I’m working on my solo project, this is just a vacation, to get back to where i was which is BTS and ARMY. So all the solo is just a journey but it is an important journey for chapter 2. But a journey to get back home safe eventually when we get back and reunite together in 2025.” We are so relieved upon this confirmation!
He also talked about BTS’s mini reunion as military boys J-Hope and Jin (who are currently enlisted in the ARMY) made a surprise appearance during Suga’s concert. He shared how they got together after a long time and shared conversations over drinks.
Namjoon also showed off some his cute antics by asking ARMYs what they thought about his new buzzcut, as well as admitting his notorious tendency to give out spoilers for upcoming work. He said that he is being extra cautious – but what can be a bigger spoiler than performing an entire track live? We can’t wait to hear your new album, RM!
