BTS Jin captivates fans with his fresh visuals and witty charm.
On September 24th KST, the latest episode of ‘Run Jin’ titled “EP.5 | The Channel Owner Has Changed” was released on BTS’s official YouTube and Weverse channels.
In this episode, TV personality Ji Suk Jin appeared as a guest. Jin and Ji Suk Jin first met through a variety show and have kept in touch since. The “visual king” Jin appeared in a casual outfit, wearing a shirt and jeans. When Jin realized that Ji Suk Jin was the surprise guest, he was thrilled and exchanged handshakes and hugs with him.
Ji Suk Jin, seeing Jin for the first time since his military enlistment, exclaimed, “You look even younger! How is this possible?” Jin jokingly replied, “I make a living with this (face). Of course, my voice is great too, but really, I live off this (face).”
The theme of the episode was “luck of the draw.” Both Jin and Ji Suk Jin pulled the “bad luck” cards three times in a row, earning them the nickname “bad luck duo.” The production team offered delicious Chinese food as a prize and challenged them to a quiz. After an intense competition, Jin won with a final score of 14-9.
Both selected their food, but the utensils were also determined through another game of chance. Ji Suk Jin won the skewer game, but hilariously struggled to eat with the oversized chopsticks he received as his prize. In another game, Jin won the challenge of removing a sheet of paper from stacked cups, but ended up with the prize of “make your own dessert,” leaving both laughing.
The preview for next week’s Run Jin shows Jin and Ji Suk Jin trying to find the real two “Seokjin” among many participants, hinting at an exciting mission. Jin also showcased his military prowess, sprinting with impressive speed, reminding fans of his time as a top-tier soldier.
