BTS member Jimin is once again at the center of dating and cohabitation rumors with actress Song Da Eun, marking the fourth year such speculation has circulated. Unlike Song Da Eun, who has occasionally addressed the issue indirectly, Jimin and his agency Big Hit Music have remained silent, fueling further public interest.
Recently, Song Da Eun uploaded a video on her TikTok account that has drawn significant attention. In the clip, she is seen leaving her apartment to wait by the elevator. When the doors opened, the man who appeared was Jimin. Surprised, she greeted him warmly, while Jimin responded with a laugh, saying, “Oh, you knew I was coming in? I was trying to surprise you by not telling you.”
The hallway shown in the video reportedly resembles the interior of a luxury apartment complex in Hannam-dong, Yongsan, Seoul, the same building where Jimin is known to reside, reigniting speculation that the two may be living together.
Rumors about their relationship first surfaced in 2022 when Song Da Eun posted a photo of wireless earphones engraved with the initials “J” and “S” on her Instagram account. Later, she shared a video of a person with their face hidden by a flower emoji walking along a riverside. Netizens noted that the scenery matched the background from a 2020 BTS video and that the shoes worn were identical to a pair Jimin had previously worn. Additionally, Song Da Eun once posted a photo wearing official BTS merchandise featuring the title of their hit track “MIC DROP.”
While Song Da Eun has suggested through social media that she would take legal action against malicious comments and cyberbullying related to the rumors, Jimin and Big Hit Music have consistently refrained from making any statements on the matter. This silence has left Song Da Eun as the primary target of prolonged online harassment.
Born in 1991, Song Da Eun graduated from Induk University’s Department of Broadcasting and Entertainment before making her acting debut in the 2011 MBC drama ‘Can’t Lose.’ She later appeared in ‘Hold My Hand’ (2013), Drama ‘Special Illegal Parking’ (2014), ‘Wednesday 3:30 PM’ (2017), and ‘Once Again’ (2020). She gained wider recognition after starring in Channel A’s popular dating reality show ‘Heart Signal 2′ in 2018.
Jimin, born in 1995, debuted in 2013 as a member of BTS under Big Hit Music, a label of HYBE. After completing his mandatory military service in June, he traveled to the United States in July with other BTS members to prepare for their comeback. The group is expected to return in spring 2026 followed by a large-scale world tour.
