Singer Youngtak’s agency confirmed on October 15th KST that while he did lend money to comedian Lee Jin Ho, the full amount has already been repaid.

Abyss Company, Youngtak’s agency, stated, “Youngtak did not suffer any financial loss from Lee Jin Ho. Last year, on July 18th, Lee Jin Ho asked for financial assistance due to tax issues, and Youngtak provided help, but received the full repayment by September 12th.”

The agency further explained, “We are sharing the details to clarify the situation because many fans have expressed concerns and worries.”

On October 14th KST, news surfaced that Lee Jin Ho had been involved in illegal online gambling and had accumulated a large debt. Reports indicated that fellow celebrities had lent him money and had not been repaid, leading to speculation that Youngtak was also a victim.

In addition to Youngtak, BTS member Jimin was also mentioned as a victim. Big Hit Music, Jimin’s agency, confirmed, “As reported, financial damage was caused by Lee Jin Ho, and Jimin had only written a loan agreement and lent him the money.”
