BTS and viral K-beauty brand TirTir have partnered for BTS The City Arirang in New York, US, a city-wide event to celebrate the K-pop band’s world tour.
Taking place from 24 July to 3 August to coincide with BTS’s Arirang concerts in North America, the tie-up follows a similar event in Busan, Korea last month.
The partnership will see TirTir launch the limited edition BTS The City New York Perfect Setting Duo, to help fans “keep their make-up looking fresh even through the heat
and excitement of the concert”, the company said in a statement.
Comprising TirTir’s Mask Fit Makeup Fixer and Reflect Glow Prep Primer, the duo comes in a BTS The City Arirang pouch which is inspired by Korea’s traditional bokjumeoni, or ‘lucky pouch’ – small drawstring bags that are exchanged on major holidays in the country.
Shoppers will also be able to get a limited edition hand fan when they purchase two of the sets.
TirTir will host a “concert-proof” bar at the Korean Cultural Center New York, where visitors will be able to try the set along with TirTir’s sun care and lip products.
BTS The City New York Perfect Setting Duo will be available to pre-order from July 27 to July 21 via Weverse Shop, with pick-up at the bar from 1 to 3 August.
“Following Busan, we are honoured to once again be part of BTS’ The City project in New York,’ said a TirTir spokesperson.
“We hope visitors to New York will have the opportunity to experience TirTir’s make-up products firsthand and connect with the brand through this collaboration.”
BTS made its musical debut in 2013 with their album ‘2 Cool 4 Skool’.
They have since sold millions of records worldwide with hits such as ‘Butter, ‘Dynamite’, and ‘Blood Sweat & Tears’.
The band are currently on a world tour in support of their 2026 album ‘Arirang’ and recently performed at the football World Cup halftime show.
