BTS will be taking a nostalgic trip down memory lane through ‘2024 Bang Bang Con,’ an event that allows fans to relive their past concerts.
On the 4th, BTS posted the main poster for ‘BTS ONLINE CONCERT WEEKEND, aka ‘2024 Bang Bang Con,’ on their official social media channels. ‘Bang Bang Con’ is a festival where fans can watch BTS’s previous concert performances for free.
According to the released poster, ‘2024 Bang Bang Con’ will feature three significant concerts: ‘2014 BTS LIVE TRILOGY EPISODE II THE RED BULLET,’ ‘2017 BTS LIVE TRILOGY EPISODE III THE WINGS TOUR THE FINAL,’ and ‘2019 BTS WORLD TOUR LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF THE FINAL.’
The ‘2014 BTS LIVE TRILOGY EPISODE II THE RED BULLET,’ held at YES24 Live Hall (formerly AX Korea) in Seoul, was BTS’s first solo concert just 1 year and 4 months after their debut. They performed for three days, meeting about 5,000 fans and showcasing songs like ‘No More Dream,’ ‘N.O,’ and ‘We Are Bulletproof Pt.1.’
Next up is ‘2017 BTS LIVE TRILOGY EPISODE III THE WINGS TOUR THE FINAL,’ held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. During the ‘WINGS TOUR,’ BTS sold out 40 shows in 19 cities, drawing a total of 550,000 attendees. The tour featured individual stages that highlighted each member’s unique personality, along with performances of hit songs like ‘FIRE,’ ‘DNA,’ and ‘Spring Day,’ capturing the hearts of fans worldwide.
The ‘2019 BTS WORLD TOUR LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF THE FINAL,’ held at the Olympic Stadium in Jamsil Sports Complex, Seoul, marked the grand finale of their stadium tour. BTS performed 62 shows in 24 cities, engaging with over 2.06 million fans. This tour included groundbreaking achievements, such as being the first Korean artist to hold a solo concert at Wembley Stadium in the UK and being the first foreign artist to perform at a stadium in Saudi Arabia, setting new milestones in concert history.
The highlights of BTS’s concerts from 2014 to 2019 and their growth alongside ARMY (BTS’s fandom) will be key viewing points of ‘2024 Bang Bang Con.’ The event will be available on BTS’s official YouTube channel, BANGTANTV, starting at noon on the 8th.
