Big data analysis of boy group brand reputation for December 2025 ranked BTS first, Stray Kids second, and SEVENTEEN third.
The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute measured 60,343,246 pieces of big data on boy group brands from November 13 to December 13, 2025. Through consumer behavior analysis, they evaluated the participation index, media index, communication index, and community index of boy group brands. Compared to last November’s 56,002,394 data points, this is a 7.75% increase.
BTS, ranked first in boy group brand reputation, recorded a participation index of 110,491, a media index of 1,363,882, a communication index of 2,315,032, and a community index of 3,037,797, resulting in a brand reputation index of 6,827,202. Compared to November’s brand reputation index of 9,125,320, this is a 25.18% decrease.
In second place, Stray Kids posted a participation index of 128,780, media index of 1,029,906, communication index of 1,770,192, and community index of 2,548,986, leading to a brand reputation index of 5,477,864. This represents a 33.50% increase compared to November’s 4,103,138.
Seventeen ranked third, with a participation index of 88,502, media index of 646,622, communication index of 1,879,079, and community index of 2,232,655, resulting in a brand reputation index of 4,846,859. This marks an 18.45% rise from November’s 4,092,008.
Koo Chang Hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, said, “BTS, which ranked first for boy group brand reputation in December 2025’s big data analysis, showed high link analysis scores for ‘waiting,’ ‘donating,’ and ‘recording.’ Keyword analysis highlighted ‘complete group,’ ‘together and apart,’ and ‘ARMY.’ Positive-negative ratio analysis revealed a positive rate of 92.05%. A detailed look at BTS’s brand reputation shows a 5.12% decline in brand consumption, 10.91% drop in brand issues, 34.06% decrease in brand communication, and 23.43% fall in brand diffusion.”
