RM celebrates birthday by donating 100 million won to veterans

BTS’ RM celebrated his birthday by donating 100 million won ($74504.55 USD) to veterans.

On September 12, RM celebrated his 30th birthday by donating 100 million won to the ‘Everyone’s Veterans Dream’ initiative, which will support the Ministry of Veterans Affairs’ ‘Uniformed Service Appreciation Campaign.’ His donation will be used to honor and support veterans and their families.

Through his label Big Hit Music, RM expressed, “I am personally experiencing the dedication of many individuals to our country these days. Even at this very moment, I hope this small contribution can be of some help to all the heroes who are dedicating themselves to the nation and to many who have worked hard for peace. I also sincerely thank the ARMYs (fan club name) who are always send me overflowing love and congratulations.”

In related news, RM has engaged in charity every year on his birthday. Last year, he donated to the Korean Society of Forensic Science. He’s also been serving as a public relations ambassador for the Ministry of National Defense’s Remains and Recovery and Identification Unit since 2023.
