Recently, it was revealed that BTS’s RM was scheduled to make a keynote speech at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) at the Gyeongju Arts Center.

With this, he has become the first K-pop artist to be invited as a speaker to this event.
At the opening ceremony, HYBE’s chairman Bang Si Hyuk was also seen attending with RM. After the ceremony, the two visited the HYBE promotional booth set up, touring the space and chatting with other attendees.

The booth showcases HYBE’s growth as a global entertainment company, centered around its six regional headquarters.

HYBE stated, “The booth is significant in promoting our direction as a company that goes beyond K-Pop to lead the global cultural industry for building a sustainable content ecosystem.”

Meanwhile, Bang has recently been banned from leaving the country for violating the Capital Markets Act.
RM has also recently drawn heavy criticism for his behavior at the controversial W Korea charity event.
