BTS’s RM is the face of the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar and the global ambassador for Bottega Veneta.
He confidently pulls off various styles on the three different covers of the magazine, proving his unwavering presence.
In the interview, RM shared his thoughts about the cover shoot.
“Representing a brand is truly challenging. In the past, I wanted to be photogenic, so I practiced many facial expressions and poses in the mirror. Now, being photographed feels more burdensome and difficult. I felt comfortable working with a brand, photographer, and staff I love, so I felt proud and happy afterward.”

He responded honestly when asked about the moment he feels the most “alive.”
“As RM of BTS, I feel it’s when I’m performing, when I’ve just released an album, or when I stand confidently in front of my fans. As Kim Namjoon, it’s when I feel like I’m becoming closer to my true self without hesitation while being with people I care about.
Or when I do what I want in a place where no one recognizes me. Traveling seems to be the closest thing, but I can’t stay long because I want to come home soon. And working on music makes me feel alive again.”
