BTS’s V recently surprised fans by admitting there’s one high-end item he almost never touches — perfume.
In a new W KOREA feature released on August 11, V showcased some of his favorite possessions, from a chic designer keyring to a scarf he’s been styling since his first day in Paris.
“I don’t usually attach keyrings to my bag — maybe just to my car keys — but when I saw this really pretty one, I just wanted to have it. I told the brand, ‘Please give me this,’ and took it with me.”
But when the conversation turned to perfume, he made a candid confession. He tends to stay away from perfumes, although he carried a Celine one to the shoot that day.
“I actually don’t use perfume much. I only brought it because of this shoot. Since middle school, I’ve applied body lotion every single day without fail. When I use perfume, it mixes with my body lotion’s scent, which I don’t like. I prefer aroma scents.”
Instead of spritzing on fragrance, V sticks to his signature body lotion, a choice that, according to him, feels truer to his own scent and style.
The idol also shared other styling habits, including experimenting with scarf placements and recently swapping his usual round sunglasses for square frames. You can watch his interview below.
