BTS’s V has been selected as the K-pop artist fans want to see most in pictorials and magazines, according to the fan-voting platform Picnic.
In the poll, which ran from May 1 through May 15, V ranked first with 598,184 votes. Wonbin of boy band Riize followed with 405,864 votes, trailed by Sangwon of Alpha Drive One, who received 168,723 votes.
According to Picnic, V has been regarded as a representative “visual master,” consistently driving both sellouts of featured products and online buzz for brands whenever he releases pictorials.
The platform further explained that fans are actively engaging not only with music releases but also with pictorials, fashion and advertising content, thereby expanding artists’ brand value. Collaborations with fashion brands, social media reach and fandom purchasing power are increasingly being quantified and translated into industrial value, it added.
