BTS’s V has been selected as the K-pop artist who excels most in solo livestreaming and social media content, according to fan-voting platform Picnic.
In a poll that ran from March 6 to 20, V ranked first with 197,588 votes. Carmen, an Indonesian member of girl group Hearts2Hearts, came in second with 59,162 votes. She was followed by Shotaro, a Japanese member of the boy band Riize, who received 40,022 votes.
According to Picnic, V’s selection was driven by his strong communication with fans through livestreams and social media. The platform noted that he regularly shares glimpses of his daily life alongside content related to his activities as a K-pop artist.
In addition to his consistent efforts to engage with fans, V has also shared moments of himself studying English to better connect with his global audience.
“V’s selection highlights how an artist’s own content and ongoing interaction with fans have become key factors in shaping their public image,” a Picnic spokesperson said.
