Jin shines in his solo variety show ‘Run Jin’ with impeccable humor.

Jin showcased his blossoming variety show skills in episode 8 of his self-produced show, ‘Run Jin’ released on BTS’s official YouTube channel on October 1st at 9 PM KST. In the episode, Jin went head-to-head with comedian Ji Suk Jin in a battle to determine the “real Suk Jin,” delivering plenty of laughs along the way. The episode paid homage to the SBS variety show ‘Running Man,’ with Jin cleverly outwitting the original cast member, Ji Suk Jin, proving his variety show talent.

Throughout the episode, Jin skillfully turned every crisis into an opportunity. When Ji Suk Jin, boasting of his experience in the ‘name tag ripping’ game, taunted, “I can easily toy with someone like Jin,” Jin used quick thinking to steer Ji Suk Jin into making disadvantageous choices right from the start. Jin also revealed his sharp comedic instincts by hiding Ji Suk Jin’s name tag and using it as a bargaining chip.

Despite the fierce competition to find the “real Suk Jin,” the chemistry between the two stars stood out. While they playfully bickered throughout the games and punishments, they also helped each other at critical moments in the competition. During a photo shoot, they humorously tried to stand behind one another, each attempting to make their face appear smaller in the picture.

In the upcoming episode 9, set to air on October 8th, Jin will take on the challenge of harvesting peppers under the blazing sun, offering viewers a glimpse into his tough rural volunteer experience. ‘Run Jin’ is released every Tuesday at 9 PM on BTS’s YouTube channel, with an additional release an hour later on the global fan platform Weverse.

Meanwhile, Jin continues to exert strong influence as a global ambassador for both fashion and beauty brands. Recently, he attended the 2025 S/S Milan Fashion Week as the global ambassador for the luxury brand Gucci, drawing worldwide attention. Additionally, he was appointed as the global ambassador for the beauty brand Laneige, signaling more exciting activities ahead.
