Earlier, Jin made headlines for his participation as a torchbearer in the ‘2024 Paris Summer Olympics’ relay in France on July 14th. Known for his unparalleled impact, Jin became the first foreigner to carry the torch as the first runner through the Louvre segment on France’s biggest national holiday, Bastille Day. His participation garnered worldwide attention, dominating global searches and discussions.
France’s largest weekly magazine Paris Match exclusively highlighted Jin among the 31 stars participating, stating, “If July 14th, 1789 (Bastille Day) hastened the end of the French monarchy, Jin became a true prince 235 years later.” The U.S. news agency AP also noted Jin as the most talked-about torchbearer, while Billboard listed “Jin’s Torch Relay” as one of the top 10 things to look forward to in the 2024 Summer Olympics.
