Since BTS’s comeback set Arirang – the group’s first album in several years – debuted on the Billboard charts earlier this spring, the title has continued to perform extremely well, and not just in the United States. Arirang sits in lofty positions on a quartet of tallies in America, and globally, the group’s new music remains immensely popular.

BTS Claims a Dozen Global HitsBTS’s Songs Almost All Climb WorldwideBTS Performs Even Better Outside America

Nearly every tune featured on Arirang appears on the Billboard Global 200, which ranks the most popular songs all around the planet. The South Korean septet even manages to increase its hits as multiple Arirang songs find their way back to the roster as a number of Drake tunes from his latest era – or is that eras, since he shared three albums at once – fall away.

BTS Claims a Dozen Global Hits

On this week’s Billboard Global 200 – which is compiled using sales and streaming data from every nation on the planet – BTS claims an even dozen appearances. That figure grows when compared to the last frame, as three songs return. “Into the Sun” is back at No. 188, while “Merry Go Round” and “Please” reappear and sit side-by-side at Nos. 199 and 200, respectively.

BTS’s Songs Almost All Climb Worldwide

Nearly all of BTS’s songs that appear on the Billboard Global 200 this week either return to the roster or rise from where they sat just a few days ago. Only “Swim” and “FYA” reverse course, and they dip only slightly. “Swim” backtracks from No. 4 to No. 5, while “FYA” steps down two spaces to No. 121.

Here is a look at where all of BTS’s songs appear on this week’s Billboard Global 200.
  • No. 5 – “Swim”
  • No. 66 – “Body to Body”
  • No. 71 – “2.0”
  • No. 75 – “Hooligan”
  • No. 121 – “FYA”
  • No. 129 – “They Don’t Know Bout Us”
  • No. 132 – “Normal”
  • No. 143 – “Like Animals”
  • No. 154 – “Aliens”
  • No. 188 – “Into the Sun”
  • No. 199 – “Merry Go Round”
  • No. 200 – “Please”

BTS Performs Even Better Outside America

BTS is even more successful when looking at the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. That roster differs from the Billboard Global 200, its companion ranking, in that purchases and streams of songs via American consumers are completely left out of its methodology. The Billboard Global Excl. U.S. paints a picture of what the rest of the world is listening to.

On that tally, BTS fills a lucky 13 slots, and there’s no need for any of them to reappear. Only a few days ago, “Swim” was in charge of the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., and the single earned its eighth week running the show. “Swim” tied the group’s longest reign on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. when it reached eight stints in charge. Now it slides to second place as Ariana Grande’s “Hate That I Made You Love Me” debuts in the top spot, becoming her fourth career champion.

“Swim” is the only BTS cut that does not gain ground on the current edition of the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. In addition to the 12 tracks from the group that appear on the Billboard Global 200, one more, “Night Only,” makes space on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S.

Here is a look at where all of BTS’ songs rank on this week’s Billboard Global Excl. U.S.

  • No. 2 – “Swim”
  • No. 39 – “Body to Body”
  • No. 42 – “2.0”
  • No. 44 – “Hooligan”
  • No. 76 – “FYA”
  • No. 84 – “They Don’t Know Bout Us”
  • No. 86 – “Normal”
  • No. 88 – “Like Animals”
  • No. 99 – “Aliens”
  • No. 115 – “Into the Sun”
  • No. 120 – “Merry Go Round”
  • No. 121 – “Please”
  • No. 125 – “One More Night”
