New photos of BTS’ V during his military service are spreading online.
On October 31, a fellow soldier shared photos of V as well as a sweet message to the BTS star on Instagram, which quickly gained traction among fans. The soldier wrote to V, real name Taehyung, the following:
“To Taehyung Hyung,
Hi, Taehyung Hyung. We talked a lot in the unit, but there are still things I want to say, so I’m writing this down.
Since you transferred in February, when we worked out together, even when we thought about taking a break, we motivated each other and kept going. Our unit’s workout equipment was lacking, but thanks to your donations, we could train harder and have more fun. You bought us Haagen-Dazs at the PX, and when our friends’ new song came out, we went out together and had a really delicious meal.
When I had tough times, you listened to my worries, and when I couldn’t decide on my career, you shared insights related to my interests and recommended books. Even when I chose a path that wasn’t in the area you suggested, you just believed in me without saying much, and that was really touching. You treated my dreams as if they were your own and believed in me when I wasn’t sure about myself. Because of that, I think I could solidify my dreams even more.
Now that I’m discharged, I’m going to do my best to run forward again, just like you believed in and supported me. Even though we may be physically far apart, I’ll always keep you in my heart. When tough times come and I want to give up, I won’t abandon the dream you helped me find and will keep working hard.
Thank you for being with me, sharing laughs, and overcoming tough training during this time, whether it was short or long.”
Both fans and netizens are responding positively to V’s kind actions in the military as well as his strong physique.
